Discovered Scenes
While I was getting my tools together to shoot my first film, I created these snapshots, which mimicked individual scenes. I’d pick a photo from my camera roll, edit it to add emotion and a filmic look, then I’d add a text overlay in the style of captions to give a glimpse at the story, as I saw it.
These photos weren’t taken with a story in mind. Many of them came from way back in the scroll through my, then, 14,000+ photos. The added storyline is inspired by where I am and what feels relevant in the moment I’m creating.
